About my Questions section.

One simple question. How do you improve your photographic skills in an enjoyable way? Ask a good photographer a simple question.

To me photographing is not a competition, but rather a tool to train self-criticism and a great way to get some fresh air and meet people.

Getting pleasure out of photographing while at the same time being frustrated and disappointed by lacking results is my normal state of mind.

I like directness and simplicity* (and short sentences). Two qualities which the internet has trouble fostering, at least in me. Directness in how we talk to each other and simplicity in our words we use to talk about photography. This is my idea of teaching you how to be a better photographer.

Question 1: Street photography.

The term street photography means a lot and says rather little, just like asian cuisine or world music. When pulling a fence around a to vast area we start loosing sight of its boarders.

Street photography explained. A person with a camera in his hands leaves his abode, walks through the streets and photographs the human figure in these streets. Thats street photography. I believe that photographing people in their own home doesn't earn this label.

Duration: The workshop is around 4 hours.
